The club's Winter Championships 2018 will be held on Sunday the 18th of March at Ovenden Park.
We will meet and set up at 12:00 noon, and begin shooting shortly after. Please be there no later than 12:00 - I'd recommend no later than 11:45 AM.
The round will be a double Frostbite. A Frostbite is 3 dozen arrows at 30 metres on an 80 cm face, using 10-zone scoring. A double Frostbite is...two Frostbites! We'll shoot the arrows in ends of three, then score and collect. We'll allocate people to targets on the day, no more than four to a target.
Awards are for scores over the double Frostbite. There will be awards for the various bow styles, age groups and genders, and the overall trophy will be awarded on handicap. To be eligible for the handicap trophy, you must have submitted three Frostbite scores to David King.
We'll take a break between Frostbites. Food-wise, we're planning to have Bev and Darren provide either pie & peas and/or hot steak sandwich. The club will cover the cost. We will need to know how much grub to order, so please let me know whether or not you'll be shooting (and if shooting which bow-style), and whether you'll have any guests who will need feeding.
See you there!
