Does anyone fancy, sometime in February/March (after the new bosses have been delivered) holding a pies and peas floodlit shoot? This used to be a Phoenix tradition but have fallen by the wayside in recent years!
If theres enough members interest I will also put out feelers to local clubs including Nova, White Rose and Bronte to see if they fancy joining us!
The shoot will be held most probably on a Saturday night which is hopefully more convenient for people than a work day night and also gives time for the field to be set up and food sorted.
It will consist of a round (yet to be decided, but probably around 3 - 4 dozen) shot under the floodlights on the main pitch at Ovenden Park, followed by pies, peas and (non-alcoholic) drinks for all at the clubhouse.
Post here if you're interested! I have also sent out an email regarding this, so a reply to that would also be fine.
I look forward to hearing from everyone!

Yep, I'd be up for it. I think March would be the better time because we only have a delivery date of "some time in February" for the new bosses. And we don't want to be too close to Bronte's Spotlight 600 shoot.

Brill! From this and the email responses I've had there seems to be a good level of interest! I agree with Tim re: the date, March would probably be better. I'll put up a poll seeing which dates people prefer. :-)

I've gone for the 26th due to shift work, but the 12th would be OK as well ( hopefully 26th might be warmer !!! )
