The club championships of the Phoenix Bowmen will be held on Sunday the 21st of August.
Some of us will be getting there early to get a head start on setting up. We'd appreciate it if all members taking part in the club championships could be there by 10:30 AM, please. Shooting will commence at 11:00 AM, but there'll be some stuff to do before that.
Anyone who turns up after 11:00 AM can still shoot if there's space on a target, but we won't stop the shoot to put more bosses out.
Food: we think the best option is if everyone brings their own packed lunch.
The rounds to be shot will be Western-family, to a maximum of 60 yards: - Western (4 doz @ 60 yds, 4 doz @ 50 yds) - Short Western (4 doz @ 50 yds, 4 doz @ 40 yds) - Junior Western (4 doz @ 40 yds, 4 doz @ 30 yds) - Short Junior Western (4 doz @ 30 yds, 4 doz @ 20 yds)
Normally your round will be based on age group, but you can shoot a different round if you prefer. You may not be eligible for awards if shooting a shorter distance than normal for your age group. The standard rounds for each age group are: - Western - 16 years and over - Short Western - under 16 - Junior Western - under 14 - Short Junior Western - under 12
I'd be grateful if you could let me know: - whether you will be taking part in the club championships - which round (or maximum distance) you wish to shoot.
Hope to see you there!
Tim
